I had an endometrial ablation done years ago and have been unable to have sex since without it causing tremendous pain and bleeding. Is this normal?

I had uterine burning done 10 years or more ago and have not been able to have sex due to the pain and discomfort. I also bleed after sex and my sex life has been put on hold since the surgery because it's so painful. Is this normal? If not, what should I do? Please respond, my marriage is in serious trouble over this.

This is not normal. I would see your regular Gyn and get a good exam. There are many different potential causes of your pain. You need the help of a physician who can examine you to help figure out the root cause.

I am very sorry to hear about your pain and discomfort. I am not very familiar with the complications of uterine burning. I would recommend consulting an OB/GYN.

I need a testicle prosthesis. Without a visible testicle, I feel uncomfortable having sex and am afraid of being a freak show. Does insurance typically cover this? Also, how long does the procedure take and how long would I need to be off of work?
