Is there any treatment to remove white spots and scars?

I have multiple scars, with no pigment on my arms. I am praying there is some kind of procedure to get rid of them. Do you know of anything? I had a lady try medical tattooing, which did not work. I am desperate to have these go away. Please help.

There has been some success restoring pigment from loss of melanin in vitiligo using an excimer laser. These are not common, treatments are expensive, and many sessions are needed.

Sometimes microneedling and/or fraxel lasers can help.

Laser resurfacing is one of the best ways to achieve a smooth skin tone after scarring.

White scars are difficult to treat, but the Sciton profractional laser treatment may be an option along with photofacial laser treatments. The profractional laser treatment is a deep laser procedure and definitely has about 5-7 days downtime. Another option may be Sciton Halo laser treatments, and it may take multiple treatments. It is difficult to know without looking at the scars and where they appear on your body. I hope that this may help in finding some options.

I appreciate your question.

The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.

Best of luck!

I recommend ScaRxtape after any injury or surgery, but you need to start using it within two weeks and for three months. If your scars are white, then nothing much is possible except tattooing like you mentioned.
