The cost of breast reduction will vary from patient to patient, physician to physician, and region to region. There will also be a variation based upon factors such as anesthesia and OR facility.

This varies according to size. For private pay, our fee is approximately $6000, and this is all-inclusive.

There are three different costs associated with any surgical procedure: anesthesia, operating room fee and surgeon's fees.

These fees vary geographically as well as by the experience and reputation of the plastic surgeon. When you are dealing with surgery, ask for recommendations, do your research but do not shop price. There are a lot of individuals out there who call themselves plastic surgeons and who are performing this type of surgery. Make sure you see a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This is the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialities.

Costs can range from $3,500 to as much as $15,000 for the surgeon's fee alone. Frequently, this type of surgery is covered by insurance.
