That amount of weight loss can affect many areas of the body. Some patients I have seen with dramatic weight loss have had surgeries that include the following procedures: tummy tuck, breast lift (with or without implants), arm lift, thigh lift, facelift, and eyelid surgery.

Thank you for asking. There are numerous possible procedures: abdominoplasty, body lifting, arm/thigh lifting, and face lifting. Each patient has different priorities and should be examined by a board-certified plastic surgeon. A plastic surgeon with cosmetic bariatric experience or cosmetic fellowship training can be helpful. Best wishes!

I am president of the American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons, and I specialize in patients who have lost massive amounts of weight. Unfortunately, as she knows, skin can be removed from everywhere. I would suggest that she set up a consultation with a board-certified surgeon.

This depends on the area of laxity. Most commonly tummy tucks are performed. Many patients need facelifts, armlifts, thigh surgery, and/or breast lift with or without augmentation.
