My nose is fine and I don't feel it needs any work done. One thing that bothers me about my nose is there's a tiny unflattering bump on the bridge of my nose. Could something so small be done with out altering my nose entirely?
It depends what the bump is from. A skin lesion can be layered or frozen off with liquid nitrogen. Sometimes a steroid injection can lessen prominence. If it is in the skin, the bridge of the nose is a good place to hide a transverse scar from removal of the bump. If it is from bone or cartilage underlying the skin, it can be shaved or filed down. None of these things would change the shape of the nose.

Without photos, it is difficult to say definitively that you would not alter the shape of your nose. However, a rhinoplasty may be done that only addresses the "bump" on the dorsum of the nose. Make sure to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon who has experience in doing a variety of rhinoplasty procedures and is clear about your expectations.

Yes, different parts, including the bump, can be altered without doing the entire nose procedure. Many things can be done even under a local anesthetic with little down time.
