I had lapband surgery two years ago with very little discomfort. Suddenly I am having severe discomfort and unable to keep my food or liquids down.

I had a piece of a apricot get stuck and was able to get it back up, however, something changed and I feel like my insides are being torn up. I can't eat, I can't get liquids down, and I have tried all the tricks. I have never had a piece of food become lodged and unable to move it and this is going into day number three. I feel like I have been punched in the center of the top of my stomach. I have severe pain when I take deep breaths.

More than likely your band has slipped and is causing those symptoms. You should see your bariatric surgeon. He may be able to take fluid out through the port and get rid of your symptoms!
