how long after surgery can I exercise (running and lifting weights)?

How long after a belt lipectomy surgery will I be able to resume my daily workouts including running and lifting weights?

Recommendations for the return to activity will vary from physician to physician. In my practice, I recommend a return to physical activity at one-month, with more strenuous activity reserved for 6 weeks post-op.

As always, discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).
