How difficult is it to have under eye bags removed or treated?

What is involved with removing or reducing/treating the bags under my eyes? How would you do it?

I use a CO2 laser, making incisions inside the eyelid to remove excess fat. I then use laser resurface the outside of the lid to tighten the skin.

If it is a case where surgery will provide the best solution. A blepharoplasty is a great, simple procedure that produces great results.

It isn't difficult at all. It is an outpatient procedure and can be combined easily with other procedures if the patient has additional areas to be corrected.

Thank you for asking. "Bags" under the eyes could be different issues. Sometimes a topical treatment works and sometimes a surgical treatment addresses the exact cause. See a board-certified plastic surgeon who can appropriately address this. Best wishes!

This is a common concern as we age. The most common procedure to get rid of the bags under the eyes is a lower blepharoplasty, or lower eyelid lift. This surgery removes the fat pad under the eyes and the wrinkles so that you look rested and, therefore, younger. I hope that this helps answer your question.
