I'm scheduled for surgery to correct a previous tummy tuck. Will my surgeon do liposuction?

I had a tummy tuck October 2017. I need another surgery because the doctor did not take enough skin and fat. Will he do liposuction? Or will he have to open me up and fix it? Will I have a drain? The surgery is scheduled for 4-27-2018. I also have a lump where the incision was. Is this normal? Is it scar tissue? I have more than One.

Contemporary advances in this operation involve the following that apply to cases like yours:

Combining liposuction with scissor removal of the deeper fat in the abdomen.
Internal "quilting" sutures that make the use of a drain far less likely.
Precision in trimming the fat at the incision line to prevent an uneven or lumpy scar.

These matters should be discussed with the surgeon who will be doing your revision later this month.
