After two breast surgeries I still don't have nipples. What can be done to bring them out?

What can I do to help bring out my nipples and make them soft again?

After 2 attempts, likely nothing. If the nipples come out completely but go back in over time, it is possible that fat grafting or dermal flaps could work if this has not been tried.

Inverted nipple correction can help this with a limited incision to release the tethered ducts, base sutures to hold the nipple out, and a dermal graft to help fill the nipple. This procedure works and can be done in the office under local anesthesia.

If you are referring to inverted nipples, an incision is made at the base of the nipple and the ligaments are incised. Some people have had the nipple pierced with a bar placed to keep the nipple from retracting.

There are several procedures for inverted nipples depending upon the cause. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon for his/her opinion.

Without pictures it is hard to tell what your options would be. But there are various strategies for treating inverted nipples, if that is what you have. I also like to place fat grafts under the nipples to help bring them out in cases where there is a volume deficiency. Make sure to seek the expertise of a board-certified plastic surgeon.

There are several procedures that I do that can bring them out, and they are usually performed under local anesthesia. Consult with a board-certified surgeon who has experience doing this.

If you have inverted nipples, they can be brought out in an office procedure that takes about 30 minutes to perform.
