Liposculpture

Liposcultpure is a procedure that has become an extremely popular alternative to liposuction. It provides individuals with an easy way to reduce body fat from any region in the body. This procedure is considered to be much safer than liposuction since it is less invasive. Also, the procedure can be targeted to stubborn fat often making it more effective. Since liposculpture is more affective and less dangerous than liposuction it is often more expensive than liposuction.

The Liposculpture Procedure

Lipsculpture is an invasive plastic surgery that is used to remove unwanted, or unattractive, fat from the body. An anesthetic is used on the targeted area which completely numbs all muscle tissue. By numbing the tissue, plastic surgeons performing the procedure can target the area with more precision than ever before producing extremely accurate results. This helps reduce the number of patients who receive a surgery but are not happy with the results.

Recovery after Liposculpture

Since liposcultpure is a surgical procedure expect to spend some time off of your feet recovering. Depending upon the area the liposculpture is performed you will be limited from doing certain activities. Your physician will give you detailed instructions after your surgery.

Since liposculpture is targeted and the muscle tissue was numbed you will not experience as much pain or bruising as a normal liposuction patient would. This will help shorten your recovery period. If you do experience any serious pain or a great deal of bruising always contact your physician immediately.

Cost of Liposculpture

Liposculpture is one of those “you get what you pay for” situations. While liposculpture can be more effective than liposuction it can also be much more expensive. This is usually because of the precision involved and the promise of a faster healing process. Expect to pay anywhere from $1,700 to $2,700 per area or limb.

Risks Associated With Liposculpture

Liposculpture does have some of the same risks as liposuction though they are much reduced thanks to the anesthetics given locally. There can be a great deal of pain and in some cases bleeding or excessive bruising. Since liposculpture is less invasive than other procedures these problems should be limited but they are possible. Also, there can be some complications if the patient is not already near an ideal weight for the procedure. If you are overweight some plastic surgeons will require you to lose a certain amount of weight before having the surgery.
