Thermage treatments have been shown to be safe and effective in clinical tests. However, like other types of plastic surgery procedures, this non-invasive cosmetic technique for rejuvenating the face ,and other areas of the body, is not without controversy. Thermage problems have been spoken of on blogs sites, and other networking sites, but there has been no statistical gathering of information. There is some question as to whether patients who have complained of problems with the procedure followed the post-treatment instructions given. The best way to prevent any thermage problems is to follow your plastic surgeon's directions completely. In addition, only a plastic surgeon that is board-certified, and has at least two years of hands on experience with thermage treatments, should be allowed to perform the procedure.
