Symptoms Of Tmj

TMJ is the acronym associated with temporomandibular joint disorder. The temporomandibular joint is located on both sides of the face in front of the ears. Because the temporomandibular joints can move side to side, front to back, and operate as a hinge like joint, it's sometimes referred to as the most complicated joint in the body. Symptoms of tmj include joint popping, headaches, ringing in the ears or ear pain, plugged ears, pain in the area surrounding the joint, and the inability to chew or bite down hard. Tmj is extremely painful at its worse and incredibly annoying at its best. Tmj is common in people who have Mitral Valve Prolapse, are double-jointed or who suffer from varying form of connective tissue disorder.
