Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate

Cleft lips and cleft palates are some of the most common types of birth defects. As many as one out of every 700 children are born with a cleft lip or cleft palate - the most common occurrences of clefts are in babies of Latino, Native American or Asian descent. Clefts occur when the tissue of the mouth or lip does not develop properly while the baby is in the womb.

Surgical Hair Removal

While the hair on person's head or face can be an important part of their look, there are some areas of the body where hair is unwelcome. Excessive hair on the back, legs, or arms can be unsightly, as can facial hair on women. While shaving this hair is always an option, it's a temporary solution at best. For a more permanent way to remove this hair, people can turn to surgical hair removal, also called laser hair removal.

Nose Reshaping

When cosmetic surgery procedures began becoming popular, the look for the actors and Hollywood celebrities was subtle and natural.  Nose reshaping and work on chin surgery were very popular in the early years.  Actors like Dean Martin, Clarke Gable, and Marilyn Monroe have all had work done, but none of these classic actors looked unnatural or ridiculous after the surgery was completed.

Facial Cosmetic Surgery

The face is one of our most defining features. A lot of the way that people are perceived is based on their facial appearance. As such, it's no surprise that millions of people each year seek out facial cosmetic surgery to improve the overall look of their face. Just about any part of the face - the eyes, lips, nose, ears, and more - can be shaped and sculpted through facial cosmetic surgery.

Facial Liposuction

Liposuction can be performed on many parts of the body with great success.  In the past, many have assumed that liposuction was only an option for areas with large amounts of fatty deposits such as the thighs or buttocks.  Liposuction can also be successfully performed in many other areas of the body, however.  Facial liposuction is gaining popularity as a procedure, because it can quickly and in a minimally invasive manner remove unattractive fat stores and allow patients to be able to look and feel more attractive.

Eye Lid Lift

One of the most noticeable features of any face are a person's eyes. Since the color of the iris is the most prominent characteristic of the eye, people often overlook the importance of the eyelid in determining the beauty of an eye. Droopy, baggy, or puffy eyelids can cause a person to appear and drawn and exhausted at all times, which greatly detracts from their attractiveness. One option to counteract this is an eyelid lift, also known as Belpharoplasty. This plastic surgery procedure helps restore a vibrant look to the eyes.
