About Eugene J. Cherny, MD FACS

Dr. Cherny has been recognized for excellence in Plastic Surgery many times and by many organizations. Dr. Cherny's board cerficatiosn includes Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand, 1993, American Board of Plastic Surgery, 1992 and National Board of Medical Examiners, 1984. Post graduate training in Resident in General Surgery, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, 1983 - 1987 and Resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, 1987-1989. He has been awarded three times as one of "Americas Top Surgeons", by the Consumers Research Council of America. As one of the few members in Iowa of the prestigious American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, he has been awarded three times the certificate of Advanced Education in Cosmetic Surgery.
