Overview
Dr. Elizabeth Almeyda is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American College of Surgeons. Dr Almeyda earned her medical experience from the University of Rochester, and at the Cornell Medical Center where she completed her residency in plastic surgery. Dr. Almeyda also teaches at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center while providing supervision in the clinic and operating room for Plastic Surgery Residents. Dr. Almeyda also gives seminars to residents about the 'techniques and advances in contemporary plastic surgery'. She has also given presentations at esteemed medical meetings such as: the XII Medical Congress of the Spanish-American Medical Society, on Liposuction-Technique, Patient Selection, and Indications. Dr. Almeyda has also presented at the New York County Medical Society and the New York Academy of Medicine Symposium on Diet and Obesity.
