Males Breasts
If you are a male, enlarged male breasts are unwanted. If you are a transgender or undergoing sexual modification, male breasts are desirable. A plastic surgeon is able to address both needs. He or she can recommend either the removal of male breasts – gynecomastia, or the resculpting of male breasts to create a female chest. The processes differ in their intent and technique. With both, however, there is the removal of excess or undesirable material before altering the chest to resemble the desired product. In the case of male breast reduction, the plastic surgeon will excise the extra tissue and use liposuction if necessary. In creating breasts, the plastic surgeon will make incisions into the males breasts with the intention of inserting breast implants. Both procedures will require time off work. Small scars are also possible. Consult several plastic surgeons before making your decision to decrease or enlarge your breasts.
