Lateral Brow Lift

A lateral brow lift is a surgical technique used to correct drooping of the outer brows. This procedure is also commonly referred to as a temporal brow lift. A lateral brow lift exclusively targets the sagging and drooping around the area outside of the eyebrow on the outer corners of the eye. When performing a lateral brow lift, a surgeon makes incisions in the hairline on the side of the temples and then lifts the outer corners of the forehead and removes the excess skin. This lifts the outer sides of the brow and may reduce the appearance of crows feet in addition to tightening up sagging corners of the brow. Often this procedure is performed in conjunction with other cosmetic surgeries which may target other areas of the brow or face.
