Laser Lipolysis
Laser lipolysis is also commonly referred to as laser liposuction. This procedure is generally less expensive and carries less risk than traditional liposuction procedures. In a typical laser lipolysis procedure, a doctor will make a small incision and then insert a small wand under the skin. A laser is then used to melt target fatty areas. This procedure can be done under local anesthesia, which is far less risky than general anesthesia. Recovery time is usually much shorter in regard to laser lipolysis, and many of the complications associated with traditional liposuction, including dimpling and sagging skin, may be able to be avoided with laser lipolysis. Laser liposuction is usually a more gentle form of liposuction, and deep bruising is not an issue due to the use of lasers.
