Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure which is also commonly known as labia reduction surgery. This procedure is sought out by women wishing to reduce the size of their labia, which may have become elongated due to childbirth or other factors. While many doctors warn against undergoing labiaplasty for purely cosmetic reasons, many women with enlarged or elongated labia may feel pain and discomfort when engaging in certain activities, such as exercise or sexual activity. In this case, removal of the excess labial tissue through labiaplasty is recommended. This procedure is fairly simple and does not negatively affect sexual sensation. The majority of women who undergo this surgery in order to relieve pain and discomfort report being satisfied with the outcome.
