Ipl Hair Removal

IPL hair removal is a hair removal technique which uses an IPL or Intense Pulsed Light laser. These lasers are fairly gentle, targeting only the top layers of skin, and therefore discomfort is minimal when undergoing IPL hair removal. Some stinging is common, not unlike the stinging felt from waxing or plucking. During IPL hair removal, short bursts of light target the hair's roots, vaporizing them instantly. Special optics and a xenon flash lamp are used in this procedure, and it is generally less expensive than traditional laser hair removal procedures. In addition, an IPL hair removal procedure is usually quicker than other forms of laser hair removal. Though commonly used for hair removal, IPL laser treatments are also used to treat rosacea, birth marks, broken capillaries, and sun damage.
