Boob Job
A boob job generally refers to the cosmetic surgery, breast implants. Breast implants began in the 1950s and 1960s. The procedure is relatively simple, and usually takes around two hours. An incision is made, the implant is placed and the incision is then closed. There are a couple types of incisions for the procedure with varying benefits. Inframammary is the most common where an incision is made under the breast. However, this type has the greatest chance to leave unsightly scaring. Transaxillary is an incision made in the armpit of the patient, reducing the appearance of any scarring. There are other incisions possible for similar procedures such as breast augmentations and lifts. There are also two types of implants, silicone gel and saline, differing in appearance and safety.
