Body Thermage

Body thermage is a non-surgical method to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by tightening the skin. This can also help with loose or sagging skin. It was first approved the FDA for, and used successfully on facial wrinkles in 2002. In 2006, it was approved for use in any location of the body. With this, it is now used for contracting loose and drooping skin from the abdomen, arms, thighs and even the buttocks. The tightening occurs by inducing the area to produce more collagen, which supports the skin. A typical session will last anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes. Results may be seen as early as three weeks after the procedure, but will continue to improve for the next six months.
