Anti Wrinkle

Anti wrinkle refers to products that can reduce, reverse or erase the rolls, creases and fold in your skin by endowing it with the collagen naturally lost during the aging process. While many different cell types of the body are constantly dying and replicating, collagen cells have a much longer life cycle – nearly 30 years. As the collagen cells in your skin break down your skin begins to sag into areas vacated by dying collagen cells. Anti wrinkle products may contain compounds that target Cortisol, a hormone released during stress that is thought to cause wrinkles. Tretinoin and Glycosaminoglycans are two ingredients frequently found in anti wrinkle creams, gels and foams, but Botox has become one of the most common anti wrinkle treatments. Botox is an anti wrinkle treatment that uses a neurotoxin derived from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum and is manufactured by Allergan.
