Acne Treatment
Acne treatment involves reducing the physical and even psychological issues stemming from acne related maladies. Treatment can involve medicated creams containing Benzoyl Peroxide, Resveratrol and Isotretinoin or homeopathic remedies such as pomegranates and crushed garlic, which can be applied directly to the effected areas. Sometimes patients will try to pop their zits as a form of acne treatment, but this is not recommended since the conditions where this procedure often occurs is far from sterile. Instead, patients should go to a doctor, dermatologist or esthetician who may suggests other forms of treatment such as medication, excision, drainage, topical ointment, foam, gel, pharmaceutical injection or laser surgery. Patients who have experienced psychological trauma in addition to the physical issues accompanying their acne may wish to speak with a trained counselor like a psychologist, religious leader or spiritual advisor.
