Breast Reduction Exercises

Many women are very self conscious about the size of their breasts.  Large breasts can seem out of proportion with the rest of the woman's body, and at times lead to unwanted attention.  Breasts that are extremely large can also cause significant health issues.  The biggest health issue associated with large breasts is back injury.  Because a woman's back is laden with extra pounds to carry along, it is far more likely the injury will occur with large breasts.  Many women are under the assumption that the only way to combat large breasts is through breast reduction surgery.  However, there are breast reduction exercises that should be considered first before surgery is every sought.

Ways to Make Exercise Beneficial

Breast reduction exercises may not be the most beneficial way to reduce breast size.  Instead, every possible step must be taken to ensure that any exercises undertaken are truly beneficial.  The composition of a breast is largely fatty tissue.  Therefore, one way to support breast reduction exercises is through the lowering of fat in one's body.  Through a proper diet that is designed to be low in fat, your can shed weight that most likely is fatty in nature.  When someone loses weight, they typically lose it first in the places with the most extra weight to spare.  So when you bolster breast reduction exercises with a fat reducing diet, you may see faster and more successful results.

Cardio Exercise to Burn Fat

Many women assume that by lifting weights, they can tone their breasts to make them smaller.  This is, for the most part, a fallacy.  Instead, the first types of breast reduction exercises that you should consider are cardio.  Cardio exercises will not only help to get your heart in shape, but will act as fat burning opportunities.  The more often you bring your heart rate to it's peak exercise target and the longer you are able to sustain cardio exercises, the more fat you can burn.  Plan to do at least three days of cardio exercise each week, with at least a half hour of the most intense cardio you can stand on each of those days.  Walking briskly is not enough; instead, you should engage in the most brisk activity that your heart can stand.

As always, before beginning a new diet or exercise routine, consult with your doctor to review your overall health.
