According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the most popular cosmetic surgery in the New England region, including the state of Rhode Island, is rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) with more than 80,000 procedures performed last year. Other popular cosmetic procedures that Cosmetic Surgeons in Rhode Island perform include abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), liposuction, eyelid surgery, and breast augmentation. In comparison to the rest of the United States, the Rhode Island region leads the country in lower body lift procedures, accounting for 30 percent of all lower body lift procedures that were performed in 2007.
