The American Society of Plastic Surgeons reported that the most popular cosmetic surgery in the North Central region, including the state of North Dakota, is rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) with more than 44,000 procedures performed last year. Other popular cosmetic procedures that Cosmetic Surgeons in North Dakota perform include abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), liposuction, eyelid surgery, and breast augmentation. In comparison to the rest of the United States, the North Dakota region leads the country in buttock lift procedures, accounting for 30 percent of all buttock lift procedures that were performed in 2007. The majority of plastic surgery patients are women, and therefore the most common surgeries in the North Dakota region tend to be breast augmentation as well as eyelid surgery.
