If you have a strenuous job though, you will probably be advised to rest for an additional two to three weeks. You can expect to have some uncomfortable side effects as well. These usually consist of the following: soreness, swelling, change in nipple sensation, bruising, and an increase or decrease in nipple sensation. These side effects may last for some time, even up to three to six months, so be prepared for this.

The Cost of Breast Lift Surgery

While getting a breast lift may not be the most expensive kind of plastic surgery, it still carries quite a large price tag. As a matter of fact, it may cost $3,000 to $4,000. Saline implants are generally slightly less expensive than the silicone gel ones.

The Risks Involved with Breast Lifts

Like other cosmetic surgery procedures, a breast lift will carry with it certain risks. These risks usually will result in the removal or replacement of the breast implants. What happens is that breast implants are prone to cause problems such as deflation, pain, bleeding, and may form scar tissue around them which can cause the breasts to become hard and uncomfortable. Another problem that they can cause is unreliable mammography readings. For this reason, different procedures may be used.
